Ella makes the calls on your list, so you don't sit on hold
Give Ella the businesses and the questions. She calls the fence companies, the vet, the pharmacy or the service desk, waits through the menu, leaves a voicemail when nobody picks up, and takes the callbacks. You get a summary, the transcript and the recording after every call.
From $29 a month for 10 calls. Nothing is charged until your account is approved.
You give her the errand. Ella makes the phone calls.
She calls each contact from your own Ella number, between 8 AM and 8 PM where they are. She asks your questions, answers theirs from what you said she may share, leaves a voicemail when nobody picks up, and takes the callbacks. You get the summary and transcript of every call.
Every call opens the same way, played by code, not left to the model:
Hi, this is Ella, an AI assistant calling for your name at your company. This call is recorded.”
What she takes off your desk
Quotes for a job around the house
A fence, a roof, a tree that has to come down. Ella calls each company on your list with the same questions, and the quotes land in one table with the one she'd pick and why.
Finding an opening
She calls vets, pediatricians or physical therapists and asks two things: are they taking new patients, and when's the first opening. She asks about openings, never about your health.
The calls with hold music
The pharmacy, the dealership's service desk, the HOA's management company, the appliance repair shop. She waits through the menu, asks your questions, and writes down what they said.
Confirming and getting it in writing
She confirms the contractor is still coming Thursday, or asks a store to email its return policy or a cancellation fee in writing. A question only you can answer comes to you.
Errands you could hand her today
Calls out, a real errand
French doors at a rental
The brief: “Call these three door companies about replacing a smashed set of French doors at a rental house near Huntsville, Texas: can they supply and install them, and what would it cost.”
What she does: By that afternoon the owner knew one company only supplies the door and doesn't install, that a big-box installer won't quote without a $40 paid measure and won't work in a house under renovation, and that the third hadn't picked up and had a voicemail.
Calls out, a real errand
A part in stock nearby
The brief: “Call each of this hardware chain's eight stores and ask whether they have a watch repair kit in stock today.”
What she does: She called all eight stores with the same question and wrote down each answer, so he knew which store to drive to without calling around himself. One call to each store, and a summary of the lot in his email.
Calls out, takes the callbacks
A vet for a new puppy
The brief: “Call these five vet clinics near me: are they taking new patients, what does a first puppy visit cost, and when's the first opening on a weekday morning.”
What she does: She writes down each clinic's answers and its first opening. When a clinic calls back, she knows what it's about. If they ask something only you know, like the puppy's age, the question comes to you, and she calls them back with your answer.
Whom she may call
Ella calls businesses for you: contractors, shops, offices, front desks and service desks, at the numbers they do business on. If someone says it's a personal number or asks her to stop, she stops and marks them. A person at their own phone gets a call only if they agreed to be contacted by an AI assistant for you and you recorded where and when. She never makes sales or marketing calls to anyone, and she won't call someone who didn't ask to hear from you. Every errand is checked before she contacts anyone. More on the rules in the main FAQ.
Which plan: A household fits Starter, 10 calls a month: that's three or four errands, like quotes from three fence companies and a round of calls to find a vet. A landlord with a few rentals and a steady list of repairs may want Pro, 50 calls.
Pricing
Monthly, per conversation: a call that reached a person or voicemail, a call to your number, or one email or text thread with one contact. No answer, busy and failed dials are free. Calls don't roll over.
- Your number, one per account: toll-free $2.00 a month or local $2.50 a month, on the same bill.
- Extra calls past your plan: $3.50 each, billed at the end of the month. You set a ceiling on them (25 to start, 0 to 1,000, or none); at the ceiling she stops starting new calls and tells you, and calls to your number are still answered.
- Texts need your number registered with the mobile carriers; any carrier or Twilio fee for it is passed on at cost.
- Change plans in your settings: upgrades right away, downgrades at renewal. Cancel any time.
Questions
More on Ella's main page.
Can't the free AI assistants already make a call for me?
Some can place a single call. Ella works an errand to the end: she calls several businesses, tries again when nobody answers, leaves voicemails, takes the callbacks on your Ella number, puts the quotes side by side with her pick, and tells the one you choose.
Whom will she call?
Businesses: contractors, shops, clinics' front desks, pharmacies, service desks, leasing offices and management companies. A person at their own phone only if they agreed to be contacted by an AI assistant for you and you recorded where and when. She never makes sales or marketing calls to anyone.
Does the business know it's an AI calling?
Yes. Every call opens with a line played by code: "Hi, this is Ella, an AI assistant calling for <your name> at <your company>. This call is recorded." Sign-up asks for a company name; a household can put its own name there, and that is what she says. Then she asks your questions and answers theirs from what you said she may share.
Can she call a doctor's office for me?
She can ask a clinic whether it takes new patients and when the first opening is. That's all: she doesn't discuss your health or your insurance. Booking the visit stays with you.
What happens with the quotes?
On a quotes errand the offers land in one table with her pick and why. You decide, and she tells the company you chose and thanks the others. Signing anything and paying stay with you.
Can people call me about my listing?
Yes. Put your Ella number on a rental or for-sale listing and she takes the calls that come in, answers from what you said she may share, writes down who called and what they asked, and emails you after each call.
When does she call, and can she text?
Between 8 AM and 8 PM where the business is, inside the window you set, in English and to US numbers. Email works now; texts start once your number is registered with the carriers, which takes one to three weeks. You can start errands from ChatGPT or Claude, and every errand is checked before anyone is contacted.
Hand off the calls you keep putting off
Sign up, add your card, and give Ella your first errand. Nobody is called until your account is approved and the errand passes its check.
